🍂 September is here, and the bakery is slipping into fall mode! 🍞

🍎 School is back in session, routines are settling in, mornings are getting a little cooler, so warm bread and something simmering on the stove just sound right.

This month you’ll find pumpkin bread with cinnamon crunch topping, pumpkin butter cinnamon rolls, apple Gruyère scones, sourdough breads, bagels, soups, cottage pies, chicken pot pies and more.

And since school is back in session, elderberry syrup season is back too! 🌿 It’s a great time to tuck a jar in the fridge before all those fall sniffles start making their rounds.

As always, I use freshly milled grains (up to 30%) in our sourdough, organic ingredients, and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. It’s the same kind of food I want to put on my own table, made with care and shared from our family table to yours. 🤎

I’m so sorry for no forewarning on this! We got hit with a virus while on vacation last week and are on the upswing now, but I try not to bake for folks if we’ve had illness in our home.

Unfortunately we will NOT have a fresh sourdough delivery tomorrow morning 😭
Our favorite sourdough lady is under the weather so please send prayers for her!

This week is our delicious Caldo de Pollo con Arroz! A savory and citrusy blend of pasture raised, organic chicken, lime juice, fresh cilantro, rice, and a few tomatoes - avocado is always in my bowl, but up to you to add! $12/quart

Once again, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the sweet folks who ordered bread and other items from me for pick up and delivery today! 💜
