💜 I won’t be posting a whole bunch in the big community pages anymore, but I will share here.

❤️ Next week, I have a pick up in Clayton on Monday between 4:30 and 4:45pm. I’ll arrange a Tiger pick up too, if you let me know it’s needed.

🧡 Order by Friday evening at 9pm to make sure all the items are ready for you.

💛 Pints of curried chicken salad are available for pick up Monday - $8 or $10 for a pint with herbed sourdough crackers.

Hello everyone! I want to share openly and honestly for a moment.

💕 I’m here baking bread almost daily for my own family. It’s a habit. It’s a routine. It matters to us because I’ve cared about what goes into my body since I was 19. I’ve been doing this sourdough thing since 2002. It’s not a trend for me.

🍞 I’ve seen that there are new bakers in our tiny community nearly every day. I love that sourdough is more popular now, because I know it’s better for us. That said, I find it a bit difficult to post and advertise constantly when it feels like there are 30 folks doing it in our little area.

💞 So, if you like my sourdough items, teas, meals, and soups, I hope you don’t forget I’m here and grab something when it suits. I’ll likely not be making menus constantly and adding to the noise…but I expect to be making sourdough with freshly milled organic grains and local &/or organic ingredients for the next 40 years because it’s not new to us and we intend to live this way!

Order anytime by sending me a dm or commenting on a post. It’s a joy to add your breads and soups to what I’m preparing for my own family.

When I say fresh, local & organic…this is what I mean. These eggs sit on my counter because our neighbor brought them over unwashed, from their chickens.

Their chickens 🐓 who live happy lives free ranging on land right near my house.

Still here. Still sending out absolutely delicious, lovingly made sourdough items.

Everything that comes from my kitchen is made with:

- Glyphosate free, organic flours
- a minimum of 30% freshly milled flour
- an ancient, long fermentation process
- fresh, local eggs
- herbs from my own organic kitchen garden
- organic ingredients whenever possible

& love. So much love! 💕

🌿 May Sourdough Menu is HERE 🌿
The kitchen smells like maple pecans, lemon glaze, and herbs tucked into warm crusty loaves… and May always brings a little extra brightness to the bakery table.

Everything in our little home bakery is hand crafted, slow-fermented, small-batch made using only the freshest organic and/or locally sourced ingredients, plus 30% freshly milled organic grains in every bake. It’s bread the old way, with intention from grain to table. I’m grateful, as always, to serve my Rabun County neighbors.

✨ On the May Menu:
• Sourdough Boules (original, jalapeño cheddar, sun-dried tomato & basil)
• Soft, sliced sandwich loaves
• Scones: maple cinnamon pecan & lemon berry
• Browned butter chocolate chip cookies
• Bagels (original, jalapeño cheddar, everything, cranberry walnut)
• Elderberry syrup (by the quart)
• Rotating soups & suppers:
– 5/6 Creamy chicken corn chowder ($12/quart)
– 5/13 Minestrone soup ($12/quart)
– 5/20 Chicken pot pie (5–6 servings, $25)

🍲 Order a quart of soup and take $2 off any boule

🌸 Mother’s Day Brunch Boxes are also available for pre-order ($35)
Each box includes a mini sourdough boule, 2 cinnamon rolls with maple cream cheese icing, plus your choice of:
• 3 muffins or 3 bagels
AND
• 6 cookies or 2 scones

Flavors include blueberry streusel muffins, cinnamon coffee cake muffins, white chocolate raspberry or lemon berry scones, everything/plain/cranberry walnut bagels, and browned butter chocolate chip cookies.

Pickup: May 9
Pre-order by: May 4
