The Marshmallow Goodbye
Well friends… apparently there comes a time when you have to admit that you cannot run on marshmallows, cookies, caffeine, and sheer determination forever.
After a whole lot of thought, conversations, late nights, sticky countertops, countless batches, and more marshmallows than any reasonable person should have in their kitchen… we’ve made the incredibly bittersweet decision to close our business.
And honestly? This one hurts.
What started as an idea became so much more than making marshmallows. It became meeting so many wonderful people, showing up at festivals and markets, creating ridiculous flavors, packing orders, answering messages, and watching something that started in our kitchen become a little business that people actually looked forward to.
We’ve had some very questionable amounts of sugar in our house. We’ve probably made enough marshmallows to fill a small swimming pool. We’ve learned that marshmallow fluff somehow manages to get absolutely everywhere. And we wouldn’t trade those memories for anything.
Most importantly, thank you.
Thank you to everyone who bought a bag, ordered a box, stopped by a booth, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or simply said, “Oh my gosh, these are SO good.”
You helped make this little adventure possible.
Thank you for letting us make your marshmallows.
Thank you for supporting our crazy little idea.
And thank you for being part of the story.
