From Claxton, Georgia to the World Stage! 🍎🌇

On this day in 1️⃣9️⃣6️⃣4️⃣, the New York World’s Fair officially opened its gates, and Claxton Bakery Inc. was right there in the middle of the excitement!

We were incredibly proud to represent our small town of Claxton, Georgia, on such a massive international stage, in the World of Food Pavilion. These vintage photos show our booth, where people from all over the globe got their very first taste of what we now call "World Famous" Claxton Fruit Cake. It was a landmark chapter in our family’s history and a moment that truly helped put us on the map. 🌍✨
