I made these treats for some pretty special people in my life a few weeks ago.
These are the kind of friends you don’t see every day, or even talk to all that much throughout the year. We catch up here and there, and try to make it a point to see each other at least once every summer.
I’ve known these people for over a decade but over the last few years, I can probably count on one hand the number of times we’ve actually seen each other. And yet every time we get together, it’s like no time has passed.
Life gets busy, we all have our own families and our own things going on but there are just some friendships that never really change. You can pick right back up where you left off and know that these are people who will always be there.
They’re definitely some of the people who hold a very special place in my heart, and I’m so thankful and blessed to have friendships like these. 🤍
And of course, I couldn’t visit without making them some treats! 🥰
