Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to Maintain our Food Safety and
Quality Assurance programs. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA regulations and
maintaining the highest standards of food safety in our dual jurisdiction facility. This facility has an onsite USDA
inspector, a raw process area and a high-risk post-lethality processing area.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Food Safety and Quality Assurance Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
(FDA/USDA)
Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and internal audits, reporting findings to senior management
Develop, update, and maintain HACCP plans for all current and future products
Verify that all programs and procedures are followed and that results meet established standards
Assist in developing and maintaining incident management, product recall procedures, and crisis management
plans
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and track replacement parts for all machinery
Foster a culture of food safety across the organization by setting a good example
Enter and manage data using ERP systems or spreadsheets

Qualifications:
Experience with food safety programs, including HACCP and regulatory requirements (FDA/USDA)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience with ERP systems and spreadsheet data entry is a plus

Quality Assurance/Operations Assistant

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for knowing the correct processes and protocols, and monitoring production, baking, and packaging activities while actively looking for quality and safety issues. The Quality Assurance Associate takes corrective action to fix any issues found, as well as reporting the issues to department leaders and to their supervisors in a timely manner. Review of daily records, record keeping, taking product samples and swabbing for microbes, and assisting with training the teams is also an important part of this position.

The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for adherence to protocol, the eyes and ears on the floor that provides communication to the management team and assures action is taken so that small problems are dealt with before they turn into problems that affect the safety or quality of the food.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Able to use computers and tablets, including Microsoft Office products
3. Background in Food Safety/Quality preferred
4. HACCP Certified preferred
5. Supervisory experience preferred
6. Effectively communicate (written and verbal) in English and Spanish
