This weekend we celebrated my beautiful grandma turning 100 years old. What's better than a funny cake to help celebrate!

I come from a long line of bakers from both my mom's family and my dad's.

2 of my favorite cookies happen to be passed down recipes from them! These Ginger snap cookies came from my mom's family in New York and the Thumb print cookies come from some of my dads family in Michigan!

I don't do near as good as the original bakers who are now passed away.
