There is structural integrity in our struggle.

When life feels like it’s moving too fast to process, I return to the bench. I’m not "staying busy" to distract myself; I’m kneading to build the internal structure I need to carry the weight.

New post is up: The Weight of the Dough. It’s an honest look at why we push forward when life feels impossible. To anyone walking through a heavy season: it’s okay to move slow. Just keep your hands in the dough.

Sometimes, the "Pause" isn't enough.

We talk a lot about the beauty of the rest—the "Proofing" stage where life expands in the quiet. But what do we do when the rest is over and the heaviness is still there?

Right now, life is happening at full speed, and my heart is heavy. In the kitchen, I’ve realized that the "shaggy mass" of a new dough is a lot like grief. It’s sticky, it’s messy, and it fights back. But if we stop because it’s hard, we never develop the strength to rise.

Today on the blog, I’m sharing why I’m choosing to keep my hands in the flour, even when I don’t want to go on. Because sometimes, the healing isn’t in the rest—it’s in the knead.

New on the Website: The Mental Health Resources Pantry. šŸ„–āœØ

Life is demanding, and the ingredients we use for our own well-being are the most important inputs of all.

I am so proud to announce this new tab! It’s a simple, service-focused page designed to give you instant access to trusted, free, and professional support:

šŸ“² What’s inside:

The Big 3 immediate help lines (Call/Text 988, Text HOME to 741741).

Tools for daily grounding.

Directories to find long-term therapy support.

This tab is a direct result of my own need to "proof" recently. I wanted to create a place where you can find support without judgment. The "Pantry" is officially OPEN for you.

Check it out and save the link! https://cupcakesbystorm26.wixsite.com/cupcakes-by-storm/pantry-of-resources

Best for: When you need to talk but aren't ready to speak out loud (perfect for busy parents or those in a crowded house).

This week on the blog, I'm inviting you into my kitchen for two very different, but equally necessary, conversations:

🄣 Post 1: Who’s in Your Kitchen? Discover the "pantry" that actually builds legacy.
šŸ—‘ļø Post 2: The Courage of the Scrapped Batch. Why starting over is not a failure—it’s a filter.

Links to BOTH stories are in my bio and below. Let’s sift out the shame and clear the counter together.

I’m not starting from scratch; I’m starting from experience.

If you are staring at a "batch" of your life—a job, a relationship, a dream—that feels heavy and fundamentally wrong, know this: The bin is a tool of the brave. Cleaning the counter is not an admission of weakness; it’s the first step toward a masterpiece.

"Failure is not an end; it’s a filter."
Today on the blog, I’m sharing why I decided to dump a halfway-finished project into the bin and start fresh.

✨ Ditch the Shame (it’s just a clump)
✨ Clean the Counter (clear the old dust)
✨ Trust your Flour (you have the experience)

If you need a "New Page 1" in your life, come sit at my kitchen table for a minute.

Would you ever use expired yeast in your favorite bread recipe? šŸž
Probably not, right? Because you know it won't rise. So why do we keep 'low-quality' energy in our inner circles and expect our goals to grow? Heck no! / Well... maybe?

Probably not, right? Because you know it won't rise. So why do we keep 'low-quality' energy in our inner circles and expect our goals to grow?
