Our first Humble Hero in our new home!

After a little time away, Brenda is back, the oven is on, and we’re baking again.

This loaf feels a little extra special. It’s the first one we’ve made in our new kitchen, and after everything that went into getting here, it feels so good to be back doing what we love.

Here’s to new beginnings, familiar routines, and plenty of good bread ahead.

She was dehydrated for the move and has spent the last week waiting patiently for us to get settled. But she’s been revived, she’s bubbly, and she’s officially ready to get back to work.

It’s finally time to share the news — after a brief pause for our recent move, we will officially be reopening September 4th from our new home!

Quick update! 🤍

If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter around here lately, it’s because our family is getting ready for a move! 🏡

While we get everything packed up, we’re taking a short break from markets. The Kind Starter is still open and accepting online orders! Porch pickup is still available in Madisonville for now, and we’ll share our new Cincinnati-area pickup location as soon as we’re settled.

There will be a brief pause in online orders around moving day, but we’ll be sure to give everyone plenty of notice before that happens.

Thank you so much for sticking with us through all the changes. Your support truly means the world to our family and this little business, and we can’t wait to keep baking for you from our new home!

Something new is rising at The Kind Starter. 🤍

We’ve always believed food has a way of bringing people together, so it feels only natural to start offering wedding favors and dessert displays made with the same care we put into everything we bake.

Imagine your guests taking home a fresh artisan sourdough loaf with a note that says “Thanks for Starting Something Good with us,” or gathering around a table filled with our handmade sandwich cookies.

Because this is a brand-new offering, we’re looking for a few couples to help us launch it.

✨ Our first few weddings will receive special introductory pricing in exchange for allowing us to photograph the setup for our portfolio.

Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a much larger celebration, we’d love to help create something memorable—and delicious.

These White Chocolate Pistachio Sandwich Cookies are soft, sweet, and filled with homemade maple buttercream.
