Exciting announcement!!!

Starting this Saturday, I’ll be dropping off a small selection of fresh baked goods at a few local locations for you to grab while you’re out and about!

Sunshine's Treats and Eats (loaves for sale and for the breakfast menu!)

For the first few weeks, I’m going to keep the quantities and variety small while I see what everyone loves and how quickly things sell. From there, I’ll be able to adjust the amount I’m making and the items I’m bringing based on what you guys want! 🥰

I’m really excited to try this out! If there is anything that you would like to see at any of these locations, please comment below!

What has changed since adding in local milled grains to my loaf? 🤎🌾

(Photo above is my NEW local grain classic loaf)

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

🌾 MORE FLAVOR
A deeper, nuttier, more complex flavor that you just don’t get from standard commercial flour.

🌱 MORE NUTRITION
Using whole grains means keeping more of the naturally occurring fiber, nutrients, and minerals found in the grain.

🤎 A LOAF I FEEL GOOD ABOUT EATING DAILY
Simple, real ingredients. Nothing unnecessary. Just flour, water, salt & sourdough starter.

🏡 SUPPORTING LOCAL
Using locally grown and milled grains allows me to support local farmers and keep more of my ingredients close to home.

🍞 A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOAF
The flavor, texture, aroma, and character of these loaves are noticeably different. Every loaf has a little more personality.

This change has made me even more passionate about using better ingredients, and knowing exactly what goes into the bread I’m making for my family—and for yours.

My new way of ordering is live!

Going forward, I’ll be doing weekly baking drops with a limited menu and a limited number of each item. I’m intentionally limiting what I make each week so I can keep baking enjoyable and manageable for me, while still giving you the quality and care I want to put into every single order.

This new system will also help streamline payments and pickups and make the whole process a little easier for everyone!

I also want to be transparent about pricing. As I’ve continued growing and improving my home bakery, I’ve made changes to the ingredients I use—including incorporating local grains, higher-quality ingredients, and a whole lot of time and love into what I make. Because of that, it was time for me to adjust my prices to better reflect the true cost of my products and the work that goes into them. 🤎

I truly hope you all understand, and I’m so grateful for everyone who continues to support me . Your support means more than you know! 🥹🍞

🗓️ HOW WEEKLY DROPS WILL WORK:

Pre-orders open: Sunday
Pre-orders close: Thursday
Pickup: the following Saturday, 10 AM–8 PM

Once the weekly drop is posted, you’ll be able to choose what you’d like and place your pre-order. Once items sell out, they’re gone!
