I wanted to share this to spread awareness because scammers are really targeting small businesses. Someone tried to “pay” through Cash App and claimed the money was on hold because my account wasn’t a business account

— then started talking about emails, spam folders, and payment issues.

This is a common scam tactic. A real payment will show directly in your Cash App/account. Don’t click random links, don’t send money back, and don’t start an order until the payment is actually received.

As small business owners we put so much time, money, and love into our work — protect yourself and your business. ❤️
Sharing so this can hopefully prevent someone else from falling for it. Stay safe everyone! 🙏✨
