🌞 Good morning, friends! Another wonderful Sourdough Saturday is in the books, and we came very close to selling out! Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by yesterday, shared our posts, and supported our little farmstand. We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

🐾 While the farmstand will be closed today, you can still come shop with us at the Wags + Waves Appreciation Event from 12 PM–6 PM at Wag Time Boutique, located at 5541 Brewster Street in San Antonio—just about 15 minutes from the farmstand!

🍞 We'll have some of our last remaining sourdough English muffins and jalapeño cheddar mini loaves, AND we also just baked a fresh batch of Sourdough Banana Bread Minis - with or without walnuts!

🛍️ We'll also be bringing a selection of our farmstand favorites, including:

🎉 The event will feature local vendors, pet-friendly fun, giveaways, pet portraits, face painting, the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck, and plenty of opportunities to spoil your pup.

🌾 Mark your calendars! The next Schertz Hometown Harvest Market is coming up Saturday, June 6th from 9 AM–1 PM at Pickrell Park. We'll be there with fresh sourdough and plenty of homemade goodies, along with many other wonderful local vendors.

⏳ To help us prepare, the farmstand will remain closed this week. If you need eggs or any farmstand items before then, just send us a message and we'll do our best to help!

☀️ Happy Friday, friends! The weekend is right around the corner, which means the house smells like fresh baking bread, and Sourdough Saturday is almost here! 🍞👃

👩‍🍳 Today I’ll be busy working on those huge, pillowy sourdough English muffins, and I’ve added a new tool to the arsenal — a GIANT 20-inch cast iron pan! I used to juggle three separate pans just to cook 7 muffins at a time, but this monster can hold 10 all at once and should make the process a whole lot smoother (and faster!).

🌧️ Good Wednesday morning, friends! The homestead is a little extra soggy after last night’s storms, but thankfully it looks like sunnier skies are headed our way this afternoon.

💦 The farmstand itself is pretty waterlogged this morning, so we’ll be delaying opening until NOON today to give things a chance to dry out a bit.

🥚 A couple dozen farm-fresh eggs have been added to the fridge this morning, and our fresh cilantro pesto can still be found in the freezer!

👀 We’ve also got a favorite freeze-dried treat returning to the farmstand tomorrow morning… so stay tuned for that!

🌿 The farmstand will be closed today and tomorrow for our usual Monday-Tuesday break while we rest, reset the kitchen, and get stocked back up with fresh homemade goodies for the week ahead.

💦 A quick note: Our Original sourdough loaves are a bit discounted today due to an unfortunate moment where I got distracted and added too much water to the dough. They still taste great — they just didn’t rise quite as tall and pretty as usual!
