🌞 Good morning, friends!

🌿 Just a quick reminder that the farmstand will be closed today and tomorrow while we enjoy a little summertime break.

😌 Yesterday, I gave myself something I honestly can't remember the last time I had: a true "do nothing" day. No baking. No planning. No shopping. No errands. No farmstand projects. No checking things off a to-do list. Just rest, relaxation, and permission to slow down for a change.

💚 As much as I love this little business and all the wonderful people who support it, that reset was very much needed. The good news is that I'm already feeling refreshed, recharged, and excited to get back at it!

🍞 We'll be back open Thursday morning at 10 AM, and I'll be spending the next couple of days working on plans for this weekend's Sourdough Saturday, restocking a few farmstand favorites, and getting caught up around the homestead.

🌞 Good morning, friends! Our very first People's Choice Sourdough Saturday has finally arrived, and we couldn't be more excited! After tallying up all of your votes, the three winning flavors are packaged, labeled, and waiting for you on the farmstand this morning.

🍞 This week's People's Choice lineup:

• Original (full size only) — our classic artisan sourdough with a golden crust, chewy interior, and that signature sourdough flavor

• Caprese (full size & mini) — loaded with roasted cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil, and drizzled with balsamic glaze for a savory loaf inspired by the classic summer salad

• S'Mores (full size & mini) — packed with milk chocolate chips, fluffy marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers, and drizzled with a sweet chocolate syrup for a fun and nostalgic sweet treat

✨ I have to laugh a little because our two specialty loaves ended up looking surprisingly similar on the outside, each finished with its own rich drizzle—balsamic glaze on the Caprese and chocolate on the S'Mores. They may look alike at first glance, but the flavors couldn't be more different! Fair warning: there is absolutely no graceful way to get either loaf out of its package without getting a little messy, but I think you'll agree they're worth every sticky finger.
