🚨 IMPORTANT POP-UP ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
💔 Basic to Boozy Bakery will be CANCELING our Pop-Up tomorrow at the Verona Fire Department.
This is definitely not an announcement I wanted to make, but sometimes life has a way of reminding us that we aren’t quite as invincible as we’d like to think! 🥹
Today’s event didn’t go quite as planned. We were originally scheduled to be indoors, but due to space restrictions, we ended up setting up outside. And let me tell y’all… that wind and cold were NO JOKE! 🥶💨
Unfortunately, the weather took its toll on me, and I’m now feeling a bit under the weather myself. As much as I absolutely HATE canceling an event, the last thing I want to do is risk passing along whatever I may be coming down with to any of you. Your health and well-being are far more important than selling cupcakes. ❤️
But before anything else, I want to say THANK YOU!! 🥹❤️
To the MANY folks who braved those chilly temperatures and relentless winds to come out and support us today… YOU ARE AMAZING!!
Seeing so many familiar faces, catching up with our wonderful returning customers, and meeting so many new faces truly made the day worthwhile. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, Y’ALL SHOWED UP FOR US!! And that means more to this tired baker than you could ever imagine.
You continue to remind me why I love doing what I do. It’s not just about the cupcakes and bread. It’s about the friendships, the conversations, the laughter, and the incredible community of people who continue to support this little bakery dream of mine. ❤️
We appreciate you. We are grateful for you. And we LOVE you all!! 🧁❤️
Now, this baker is going to trade in her apron for some comfy pajamas, a warm blanket, and some much-needed REST! 🛌☕
We’re hoping a little downtime will have me back on my feet and ready to sling some cupcakes again next weekend!
