On May 10th, I had the privilege to participate and donate three centerpieces for the Bridge of Hope Spring Gala. Each of these centerpieces were part of the centerpiece auction to raise money for the organization. Being a part of the Gala committee and being able to donate centerpieces has been a rewarding experience.

Throw back to the May wedding that had some yummy desserts with their tiramisu cake with whipped mascarpone cheese icing. Thesguests samples sugar cookie summer tarts, peppermint brownies, lemon bars and dark and white chocolate mousse cups.

Last month my family threw a surprise retirement party for my mom. She served 35 years in one position or another in the Clearfield Area School District, starting as a lunch lady, working as the library aide for elementary, working as a reading and math aide, working as the middle school home economics aide, working as the high school library aide, and ending working as the library aide at elementary. All those years, and a love for books and stories never diminishing. She has shared her love of books with so many. Glad to be one of her bookworms.

Congratulations to Emma and Bryan! My goodness! What a way to end my 2023 wedding season with this beauty and a December wedding. I think getting married close to Christmas sounds so romantic and magical. Of course, I know reality is a different story, but doesn't it feel like a lovely dream dancing away the night to your favorite old Christmas songs and the twinkling lights? Totally worth the extra work. Right?!?!
The sweet parents of the bride even ordered a special cake for themselves to enjoy after the wedding festivities are over. Who doesn't want more cake after it's all over?
