Hey y’all!
Since there are so many new faces on here, I found it fitting to introduce myself and the story behind this new business. My name is Trynaty and I am the Owner and Operator of Seven Loaves LLC. I am also a stay at home mom and proud wife.
Growing up with a family that loves to cook, I learned along the way that I loved to cook too but I never thought for a second I would grow such a passion for baking. At first, I started baking regular sandwich bread with store bought yeast. I enjoyed baking them so much and the fresh bread we had each week tasted much better and was far cheaper than anything we could find in the store, so I kept it up!
After my oldest brother passed away, August 16 of 2023, I decided to take on the challenge of something new -- sourdough! I had been contemplating experimenting with sourdough prior to this push and I knew it was going to be difficult. Making my very own sourdough starter, from scratch took MONTHS to accomplish! I have learned a lot of things along the way but what stood out the most was that patience is key. Also after my brother’s passing, my husband and I began to read the Bible every night. We came upon verse Matthew 15:34 which caught our attention since I was feeling discouraged after months of working on this unsuccessful sourdough starter. The very next morning I got a call from my cousin, Dana, who told me about a dream she had about my brother. In the dream he told her, “Seven Loaves, Dana”. Although she knew the reference was biblical, she was confused about why he told her this. Which is why she decided to call me; she knew I would resonate with what he had to say. At that moment, I understood I had to continue to push myself to achieve success, and since then I have felt my brother’s spirit with me every step of the way.
Which brings us to today. Each loaf that is made has a little bit of the successful starter I worked so hard to achieve! I am eternally grateful for the support and trust everyone has so graciously given me. Please stay tuned, patient and hungry, because I plan to expand my business in a lot of different ways!
