We are so, so sorry! 💙

This is certainly not how we wanted to end our last weekend of the season, but unfortunately, we cannot safely open today. With flooding on the roads and conditions around the island, we’ve made the decision to remain closed for the safety of our employees and everyone on Chincoteague.

Please keep everyone on the island in your prayers, stay safe out there.

We hate that we didn’t get one last day with you, but we are SO thankful for another wonderful summer on Chincoteague Island. 🍪🍦

We’ll see you all in the spring! Until then, stay safe… it’s yucky out there! 🌧️

Due to the causeway closing, BYOC will be closed for the rest of the evening. 💙 We want to make sure our employees are able to safely get off the island and home tonight.

With the high tide, windy conditions, and the causeway continuing to open and close, we’ve decided it’s best to keep our team safely off the roads tonight.
