Ahhhhh, the Triple Threat....
Two layers of triple chocolate cake, a brownie stuffed right in the middle, topped with brownies, chocolate ganache and caramel. And whipped Hershey’s chocolate buttercream holding this all together! 🤌
Respectfully, this cake has no business being this good!

Today we celebrated the upcoming arrival of my sweet great niece, Rowen! 💗
I made a white chocolate strawberry cake along with mini strawberry shortcake cups, and y’all… it made my heart so happy watching everyone enjoy them. I’m usually in the kitchen, dropping cakes off and heading back out, so being able
to sit back, spend time with family, and watch people smile over something I made was really special.

Remember last weekend when I had the honor of making Cherie’s graduation cake? Well, this weekend I got to make one for her daughter as she graduates with her MBA from ECU and heads off to Chicago for her next big adventure.

2 cakes. 2 weeks. 2 graduations. ❤️

I feel like every cake I made this week deserves its own moment 🤍

First up — Cherie, my very first customer, celebrating her graduation from UNCG with her Masters in Education! Her sweet daughter ordered her this strawberry cake layered with fresh strawberries. Watching my customers hit milestones like this never gets old.

Next — a black walnut cake with caramel buttercream, made to celebrate a truly special milestone.

Then — my husband’s birthday treat 🎉 He’s not really a “cake person,” but my strawberry shortcake truffle always makes him smile! Safe to say it's his favorite.

And finally — a cake for Ben ❤️ He had a dream of becoming a chef, and while his time here was far too short, it was special to be able to honor him in a way that celebrates his life.

This weekend was full of moments; joy, pride, love, and remembrance. I’m so thankful to do what I do and be a part of so many different kinds of celebrations of life 🤍
