I feel like every cake I made this week deserves its own moment 🤍
First up — Cherie, my very first customer, celebrating her graduation from UNCG with her Masters in Education! Her sweet daughter ordered her this strawberry cake layered with fresh strawberries. Watching my customers hit milestones like this never gets old.
Next — a black walnut cake with caramel buttercream, made to celebrate a truly special milestone.
Then — my husband’s birthday treat 🎉 He’s not really a “cake person,” but my strawberry shortcake truffle always makes him smile! Safe to say it's his favorite.
And finally — a cake for Ben ❤️ He had a dream of becoming a chef, and while his time here was far too short, it was special to be able to honor him in a way that celebrates his life.
This weekend was full of moments; joy, pride, love, and remembrance. I’m so thankful to do what I do and be a part of so many different kinds of celebrations of life 🤍
