We had a lot of positive feedback for our Mothers' Day Special, so we're running it again today through Monday, 2pm to 7pm. Picanha steak with chimichurri sauce, organic asparagus and zucchini, choice of baked potato or mashed potato. Start with a side salad, end with a scoop of ice cream. We just got in chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream and it's going fast! $23.99.

Still need something special for mom? We got lucky and scored some nice picanha! So we put together a chimichurri sauce, braised some zucchini and asparagus, and baked potatoes. Starts with a green salad and finishes with a scoop of ice cream. $23.99. Sunday and Monday from 2pm to 7pm. Come join us for dinner.

Having some fun at the cafe today. We're running a curry bowl special! The base is a mild yellow curry in organic coconut milk, yellow potatoes, and organic veggies, served on rice. $9.95 Add your choice of protein (chicken, beef, turkey, ham, bacon or fish) for $14.95. Special runs Saturday through Monday from Noon until 7pm.

Back by popular demand, the Paul Bunyan Burger will be our first weekly special! Friday through Monday 11am to 7pm (except Sunday, special will start at Noon. Featuring a huge 10oz patty made in-house from Painted Hills Beef, served open-faced with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and served with a side of our favorite crispy fries! Enough to feed two people! $19.99 until we run out.

A couple quick announcements: First, we will temporarily close Tuesdays and Wednesdays to give us an extra day per week to work on cafe improvements. We've done a lot since September, but we'd like to finish up some projects before the busy season gets here. Second, we plan to run weekly specials, in place of daily specials, so that more people have a chance to come in while the special is running. We'll make an announcement on Thursday and the special will run Friday through Monday or until we run out. Look for our first special, announced this coming Thursday.

We made a bunch of pie for Pi day! We still have some left. Apple, Apple Strussel, Cherry, Peach Melba, Mixed Berry (5 berries), Strawberry Rhubarb, Marionberry, Chocolate Cream and Coconut Cream. Made with locally grown organic wheat and organic fruit from Oregon and Washington. Come clean us out! $6.99. Open until 7pm.

Cold and rainy calls for warm and tasty. We just made Italian meatballs this morning. We're offering two options for a special tonight. Either spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread or a meatball sub with french fries. Both for $14.99. Open until 7pm.
