Our hearts are heavy as we are finally announcing the closing of Cupcake Crusader. We stopped taking orders at the beginning of this year however, we are now letting you all know that we have officially closed our cupcake business.

We enjoyed the support of the wonderful Chico community for 10+ long years and are so thankful and grateful to you all! From our humble beginnings out of the "Cupcake Mobile" in 2010 until this year, it has been a heck of a ride! We felt your love and support through all of those years. Thank you Chico!

Lastly, we are in the process of selling our baking tools, equipment, the Cupcake Mobile, etc. if anyone is interested. Please PM us if you are interested or if you know someone who might be.

Well NOW we've gone and done it! We managed to delete our last post that describes how Cupcake Crusader is operating these days! We've made it through fires and are making it through Covid! It's been a long road, that is certain. Briefly, we are still here....11 years later! As you know, we don't have the brick and mortar shop any longer. We have also needed to adjust our business model to catering mid-to-large size events only. Please take a look at our website for all the updates! www.thecupcakecrusader.com

We want to take a moment to thank each and every ONE of you for your long time and continued support of Cupcake Crusader. It has been a long journey and we are so proud to be a part of the Chico community.

It's been a long while since we've posted on behalf of Cupcake Crusader. Seems that since November 2018, things just haven't been the same for us. We made it through the fire. We're "making it" through the Covid-19 epidemic. However, we have needed to make some changes after all. We aren't able at this time to service individuals and so have changed our business model to catering larger events, such as weddings, company/corporate events, etc. Our new minimums can be found on our website: www.thecupcakecrusader.com. We've tried very hard to accommodate smaller orders, and hope that our minimums aren't too prohibitive to allow for smaller events as well. Please check out our website.

All that said, we'd like to say to all of you that have hung in there with us and used us as your "go to" for cupcakes for years....THANK YOU! You have helped to keep us around for 10 years now! YES! 10 YEARS! Thank you seems like such a small sentiment, but know it comes from our love and respect for all of you!

We don't know what the near future holds for any of us. We had been talking about SOME sort of 10 year celebration for Cupcake Crusader, to include our customers....so stay tuned!

So. Onward we go. Please stay safe, stay well, and be kind to one another. We hope to see you soon!😬

Happy Holidays everyone! We’ll be taking a much needed hiatus through the end of the year. Thank you all for another spectacular year here at Cupcake Crusader!! We are all safe after the Camp Fire and counting our blessings. Now for a little rest! If you have an order placed already, not to worry, we’ll be taking care of you as planned. Otherwise, we look forward to working with you in 2019! Thanks for your support of our small, local business over the past 9 years! ❤️

Many of our wonderful customers have called to express concern about our safety from the fire. Thank you to all! We are safe, our home is safe, our animals are safe! We sustained some damage but our ovens are safe....most important the Cupcake Mobile made it! We’re still not able to access our property but are hopeful that will change by this weekend!

We are heartbroken over the destruction and loss of life so many have suffered. Thank you to our customers who have reached out to us.
