It's June, and that means it's full- blown farmers market season! You can find your favorite naturally sweetened jams at the same markets as last year- the only difference is that I am only at every other Lincoln Square evening market this year, no Tues mornings.

It's so nice to return to the same markets and see all of my regulars; I've missed baking over the winter and can't wait to see y'all again!

I wish that there were always reaction shots when people cut into cakes I've made... and couldn't contain their excite...

I've been hibernating a bit- here's my pop up schedule for the rest of the spring.
Full on farmer's market season isn't too far off, but I have one "pre- season" date in Lincoln Square this Thursday. The market has moved back to its original location in the parking lot by the brown line!

Great Bake Walk is a fun way to explore the Square, and there's a few routes to choose from, with drink options as an add- on. There will be no day of tickets, so be sure to grab yours ahead of time!

Here's where to grab your favorite treats this month!

is hosting a pre-valentines market this Saturday. If you're in The Region, this is your chance to save on shipping, and also to try the turtle candies.

On Valentine's proper, I'll be at indoor market with jams, turtles, and pop tarts- I'm rolling through the core lineup of jams as pop tart fillings, so come try a new flavor each market! I'm at all the events for this series; maybe you've had a Blueberry Maple Chai or a Black Raspberry Cardamom pop tart already.

And of course you know I'll be living my best dog lover's life at for their Pamper Your Pup event! I'll have jams and some snackish treats as well. You don't need to have a dog to attend, and there are lots of nice things for humans as well.

Custom Cakes, pt 2!

There were lots of fun themes last year and I got to practice doing ombre looks along with a bit of fondant work (I feel good about my ability to make ducks and bowling balls).

Hallmark holiday or not, really Valentine's is all about the chocolate! While I personally rarely eat sweets, I absoltuely used to just snac.. err, quality control.. 74% dark chocolate when I worked in kitchens.

Grab some of my best selling chocolate treats, some rosewater pistachio macarons, or a 6" honey tea cake to brighten up your February (sharing optional). Orders close at noon on Mon, Feb 9th.

While you may mostly know me as a jam and confections maker, I also take custom orders for cakes! I set a goal of 15 custom orders for 2025 and hit that in August. Here's some of the cakes that I got to make last year to help y'all celebrate- thank you so much to everyone who reached out to see what we could come up with together!

I don't do super fancy decorated cakes- I used to work at a cake bakery that hired literal artists to scuplt fondant full time, and I could NEVER 🤣 I keep it simple with a few flavors of cake, buttercream, and jam fillings; y'all have come up with some fun combinations over the years. Strawberry Vanilla Bean Jam has been the most common filling, but Raspberry Maple Balsamic with chocolate cake was probably my personal favorite (are you really even a baker if you don't make a mini trifle with all of the scraps from your projects??).
