The party animals have arrived!

Hand-decorated, a little wild, and dressed for the occasion. Wishing Riley a very happy year 8! 🥳

If you run out of pumpkins, you can carve faces into just about anything!

Exhibit A: a tart raspberry-blackberry pie
Exhibit B: a wheel of Brie

For the pie, I added MONÉGASQUE™ edible dust to the crust after I baked it. And the Brie is “painted” with a Balsamic Vinegar reduction.

My face eating these: 🤤

Recently, my “little” brother turned 40.

“How can that be, Meredith?” you may ask, “when it’s obvious you are nowhere near your 40s.” 🤔

Well, my friends, that is one of life’s little mysteries that I simply don’t have the answers to. 🤷‍♀️

But getting back on track, I made these to help him celebrate - a combo of his love of bowling and all things sour! These were Sour Lemon Cookies that packed a delightful lemony punch, enough to earn four strikes in a row. 😉😉

Happy birthday A-A!

*sips lemonade*
Ahh officially on vacation 😎

Throwing it back to this sweet set from 2021 while I park it on the beach for a week. Hope everyone is enjoying the start of summer!!

Nobody has to know the four versions (and mini crash out 🫣) that came before the finished product.

There was a lot of trial and error with this Sugar Show piece for the Black and White category at CookieCon. But after many attempts baking my cookies in a a half circle cake pan, I ended up with two curved cookies that I hand painted, glued together with isomalt and then overlayed with one continuous piece of wafer paper to give a film strip look.

I love the movement of this cookie and was so proud to attempt something new that actually hit on my vision!

Not only was CookieCon Fun Fun Fun, I also had a blast making my pieces for the Sugar Show! This piece for the Beach Party theme came together in less than 24 hours before I hopped on a flight out to Orlando.🤪

Though it didn’t place, I was so proud of the overall concept and detail, especially the snackish squid reaching for the cookie basket in the poster.

Sometimes the best part is surprising yourself with what you can create when inspiration (and a tight deadline 😅) collide.

My Spartan heart protested. My piping bags piped on. 😅💚
Rivalries aside, it’s easy to cheer for the incredible nurses who care for so many families every day. Honored to create these cookies for a wonderful team at UofM Hospital. 👏💙💛
