Hi again LOVES! 💖✨ Writing this post right now feels so strange and yet so familiar at the same time. I’ve missed you all and Pink Pastel so much, like you have no idea!

Since my last post in April, I’ve had a few major life changes—I became single again, moved out of my apartment, started a new full time job, and was even hospitalized and had surgery. Don’t worry, I am all healed and healthy in every sense now! But through it all, there hasn’t been a day that I haven’t thought about Pink Pastel or YOU babes.

I’ve been blessed to be able to explore and follow different career and life paths but my heart will always belong to this small business I built by myself with your help and support. I miss creating new cakes and pastries, baking orders for you, doing pop ups/markets, and posting and talking to you babes on a regular basis.

I do love my new job which is at a non-profit where I am able to help domestic violence survivors. I feel very fortunate for this opportunity because the main reason I got my law degree was to help domestic violence survivors and their families. Even though working this job full time leaves me a lot less time to run and operate Pink Pastel, it is very important and rewarding work for me and I know it is where I am meant to be right now. BUT I will never abandon Pink Pastel. It was always my intention to come back and continue baking orders and doing markets for you all so I will see you in the fall!!!

hey sweet friends, new and old 🫶🏼 i just wanted to quickly introduce myself to all my new followers and thank you for your support of my small business. i’m Aida and i’m the sole baker and creator of Pink Pastel. i do everything here—from marketing, corresponding, creating, baking, to running markets and it’s all thanks to those of you who follow me, cheer me on, and order from me.

there has been a lot happening behind the scenes and i’ve decided to close my order books for May (for the time being) for business development and to get my affairs in order to bring Pink Pastel back stronger and better than ever.

in the meantime, i will still be here if you need recommendations for other bakeries or just a friend 💖 love you all and appreciate you more than i can say!

hey loves, I was devastated about having to miss today but so happy the event was a success as always 💕
