As you can imagine, we are verrrry busy in these last days! Priority is now going to in-person customers - we are unable to take pre-orders or orders over the phone because we are selling out faster than we can take an order!

Online ordering for kitchen items will be limited based on volume and delivery is not available. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!

If you're looking for a reservation for dinner tonight (4/26), please visit our profile on Tock to add your name to the wait list for a reservation. You'll get a notification if something opens up.

A reminder that tomorrow, Saturday 4/27, is our last day of business! Kitchen hours 9am-2pm, bakery hours 9am-3pm (unless we sell out sooner). Menu may be limited.

It's been wonderful seeing so many familiar faces stopping in for one last visit. We may not have your favorite menu item or cake in stock, but we'd still love to see you!

📣 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

The time has come, dear friends - our official last day of business will be Saturday, April 27th.

In the week leading up to that date, we will be keeping our regular hours for the bakery counter and dining room, though keep in mind our menu and product offerings will be increasingly pared down as we reduce our inventory. Breakfast and lunch are first come, first served and reservations are strongly recommended for dinner.

On Thursday 4/25 and Friday 4/26, breakfast and lunch will be open to the public but dinner service has been reserved mainly for friends and family. In the event that we have remaining dinner seatings available or cancellations, we will have a reservation waitlist for the public. Please give us a call if you would like to be added to that waitlist (or you can add yourself to the reservation waitlist for those days on Tock).

On Saturday, 4/27 our brunch service and bakery counter will open to the public at 9am on a first come, first served basis with a limited menu. Our last seating will be at 2pm, the bakery will close at 3pm. There will be no dinner service on this day. Online ordering and carry out service may be limited or unavailable depending on the level of business.

We want to thank you all for the outpouring of love and support during this transition and throughout our 40 years. There are not enough words to express our gratitude. We hope to see all of you in these last days to help us celebrate and close out what has been a wonderful, magical era of Selmarie in the Square!

While we know that our closing is sad news, we hope you'll give Willow Cafe & Bistro a chance to make their own mark on Lincoln Square. We're excited to see what they have in store!

The beloved cafe is set to close in late April. Longtime owner Birgit Kobayashi is retiring, and new owner Andrew Pillman will open Willow Café & Bistro in the space.

📢 Morning Buns are making an appearance this weekend!

If you're an old school Selmarie fan, you'll recognize these sweet delights, made with brioche dough and filled with pecans, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a lemon glaze. They haven't been in rotation for over a decade, but we're making them THIS WEEKEND ONLY, on Friday and Saturday. You can preorder (give us a call!) or stop in to the bakery to purchase.
Pro tip: buy a couple extra and stash them in the freezer!
