When it comes to our values as a small business, we place Family & Community right at the top of the list…and have from Day #1. We’ve never been shy about our commitment to being an inclusive company that supports its employees, its customers, and our neighborhood. We’ve been thinking for a couple weeks what the “best” or “most impactful” thing to do to help stand with & support immigrant, refugee, and migrant families would look like…but we’ll never find the 100% perfect thing. Action is more important than perfection right now.
So, we’re speaking up this weekend and using our platform to raise money for an organization called Immigrant Families Together. They are and organization committed to paying bonds for detained migrants and providing medical, legal & support services to families. SO here’s what we’re doing this weekend...
#1, we are donation matching up to 1K all donations you make to IFT this weekend. You can donate at either of our stores this weekend, on our website (https://www.spiltmilkpastry.com/immigrant-families-together), or directly to IFT (send us an email with proof of your donation if you’d like us to match it).
#2, we will be donating 100% of our profits this weekend to IFT.
#3, we are asking for your help to magnify our impact. If you are an individual or company who would also like to participate in the donation match, PLEASE reach out to us!! Let’s get a little momentum going and do this for our neighbors!
Our goal is to raise at least $5,000 for this important organization, and I know with your help we can easily reach that goal!! Let’s extend a hand to our neighbors this weekend and help where we can. Every dollar is something!
