I’m not sure how to start this post so I will just speak from the heart.
This will come as a surprise to most of you but we have decided to permanently close our bakery and Christmas Eve was our last day open.
We understand this may be disappointing and maybe even unprofessional to not post this ahead of time and give a notice but please understand this has been emotionally torturing and one of the hardest things I’ve personally had to go through and hope you all can respect and understand that we didn’t want to do it this way but it was necessary. This decision has not been easy, we literally have sacrificed everything to make this dream happen. So announcing this is an unbearable pain that is so hard to admit.
Over the last 13 years of baking I’ve met some of the most amazing people who have become friends and even family. I have watched children grow, couples get married, new children be welcome into the world and more special celebrations than I can count. I want you to know how much it means to me to have been asked to be a small part of these incredibly special moments. We’ve had so many conversations with new people that came in to support our bakery and have truly gotten to know some of you and It’s been an unbelievable blessing and the best compliment I could receive. I will forever cherish these memories.
I truly thank each and every one of you for the love and support I have received over the years. If it weren’t for your encouragement and support I never would have had the courage to believe in myself and try and open a storefront.
Going forward- I will no longer be baking, even from home. It’s time for me to find a new passion and start a new chapter in life. Not sure where life will take me but I know I won’t ever forgot this chapter, it’s been amazing. 💗🫶🏻
Thank you and I love you all.
