We’re ready for our last afternoon before our break! Fresh bread and bialys, muffins and baked goods to stock up on. We will be closed next week preparing for the BikesFightCancer event next Saturday the 20th in South Deerfield at Treehouse Brewing. Sorry to be closed that week but that’s a huge event for us and we’re a small place getting smaller. We’ll reopen mid July after another large catering event with the Jam Fund and their Grand Fundo! Fundraiser for young cyclists. If you’ve noticed our team is changing and we’re still looking for someone to take over our baking department. We wish everyone who has decided to pursue other goals the best but In the meantime we’ll still be offering our fresh baked muffins, cookies and desserts. While there have been some changes recently we do hope to continue offering everything you’ve come to love at the Chesterfield General Store & Cafe.

I wanted to say thank you to all of our amazing customers for all of the kindness love and friendship over the past few years while I spent my time at the Chesterfield General Store. It has been such a pleasure to bake for all of you and spread the joys of tasty treats. Sadly it is time for me to move onto my next adventure in life. I will miss all of you and am thankful for small towns and know I will still get to run into many of you 💖 Sincerely your local baker Rita 😊

Thursday May 21st the Cafe will be closed. We are currently trying to resolve AC and refrigeration issues. We will reopen Friday morning. All of our baked goods and desserts will be available then, however, We will update you on progress with breads and pizzas for Friday.
