Today I stopped by Kyj's Bakery (our next-door neighbor in Brookhaven Borough) to congratulate them on 70 years in business. The owners of Kyj’s Bakery plan to retire as Kyj’s closes their store in Chester on Aug. 3 and Brookhaven on Aug. 4. My staff and I will miss their pierogies and cakes but wish them a happy retirement!
