Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a quick update on Shef! He will be going home tomorrow after being in the hospital for the week, but he needs to be on IV antibiotics for 6 more weeks. Because of this, we are moving our opening date to 3/3 or 3/4, depending on how he is feeling! Please bear with us as we navigate opening and operating while Shef is still on the mend!

Also, we wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes for Shef! We are so lucky to be able to work with such a great community. So many customers have become like family in the time that we have been open, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.

To our valued customers,

Starting tomorrow 2/14 we will be taking the week off and our tentative return date will be Tuesday February 24th. Unfortunately, this break wasn’t planned and not something that we wanted to do, especially after having to close due to the problem with the oven, but recently Shef has been dealing with some health concerns and it has been recommended to him that he take some time off to recover. We are hoping to be back on 2/24, but as most people know, when dealing with health concerns, sometimes things don’t go as planned. So we will do our very best to stick to that return date but will keep everyone updated if anything changes. Thank you, as always, for understanding that as a small business sometimes we have no choice but to close on short notice or make last minute changes. We will forever be grateful for ALL of your support as always, but especially during these times.

OVEN UPDATE: We thought we had the problem solved yesterday but while we were in the middle of baking we ran into another unexpected problem. Because of this; we are only able to get a small amount of bagels out today. We will be open today until we sell out, then we will close so we can continue working on the problem. It looks like we may have to order a new part so we will just have to update on a day-by-day basis. Thank you all as always for your patience and understanding! Again we are so sorry!

We will be closed Tuesday February 3rd in order to make sure everything is running properly and to get ready for Wednesday. We anticipate that we will be be open on Wednesday, but will keep everyone updated. We are sorry for any inconvenience!
