Our Spring Wedding Cake, a centerpiece at this scenic seaside Wauwinet celebration, was a labor of love, blending the island’s charm with timeless elegance. Nine tiers adorned with handcrafted sugar flowers in shades of pale pink, blue, and cream, echoing the hues of Nantucket’s blooming gardens. A front cascade of garden roses, inspired by the iconic New Dawn climbing roses, added a touch of whimsical romance. Here’s to sweet memories and the art of creating edible dreams! 🍰💕 ”

From last Spring, a romantic victorian style wedding cake. We don’t often get this type of request, but we always try to oblige.

Hexagon, petal & round cake tiers provide the foundation for this ornate wedding cake. Each tier was embellished with intricate decorations piped with royal icing and applied to the cake at the last minute. The unique topper consists of a cast sugar compote vase filled with pink, yellow & cream sugar flowers.

I love working on challenging designs. Although it took some time to do the research on these bygone English royal wedding cake decorating techniques, it provided me an opportunity to take my seldom used piping tubes out of retirement while refreshing my piping skills, and the results were well worth it! Don’t you think?

An unusual and special request: enchanted rose🌹
A cake featuring fondant drapes, molded borders painted with gold dust, food colors were used to paint the gum paste panels in the background, gum paste rose & fondant wood plank floor.
