For my Virginia followers…

I will be in the kitchen this weekend baking.

If you’re in need of regular sourdough loafs or a jalapeño cheddar loaf, please reach out to me.

I will also be baking sourdough chocolate chip cookies as well!

Regular loaf -$10
Jalapeño cheddar -$14
1/2 dozen chocolate chip cookies-$7
Dozen chocolate chip cookies -$14

Will need to know by Saturday morning!

Pick up will be either Sunday evening or Monday afternoon!

Phew, what a busy day in the kitchen. My day started off with baking a loaf of plain old sourdough, then realized we had nothing to eat for breakfast! Thankfully I prepped the night before, and made the dough for English muffins. So after baking the bread, I made some English muffins, then realized I had brown bananas. Who doesn’t love banana bread. So I made a loaf of sourdough banana bread (which I might add is almost gone, my littlest human has pretty much eaten the whole thing). We ventured off to our local farmers market and to the store for groceries. I did get a very little bit of relaxation in before I decided I wanted to make sourdough hamburger buns. (I haven’t baked them yet. They are on their last proofing session) and then to top the day off I prepped 5 larger sourdough loaves and six minis for my kids to take to school on Monday for their teachers!

Tomorrow if I find the energy I’ll be making a regular cheesecake, and a banana cream pudding cheesecake!

We are having a pot luck at work today during training. So yesterday when I got home I made a double batch of bread, didn’t even have my starter out of the fridge. Made it anyway, and I just finished baking them this morning. They turned out better than I expected. I’m excited to cut into them later. Regular loaf, jalapeño and cheddar, pesto parm, and a strawberry chocolate.

This is what I just did with one my mini regular sourdough loaves.

Chipotle mayo, Avocado, bacon, tomato, and mild pepper rings with some garlic herb seasoning.

IT WAS DELICIOUS!

PHEW! I am tired. Buttttt, after such a busy day of work, then doing house work I decided to make an extra large batch of dough. I thought I timed it perfectly to bulk ferment overnight, but I was wrong. This nearly doubled in size in five hours. Sooooo…stay tuned for tomorrow for what I baked and what will be available!
