We are having a pot luck at work today during training. So yesterday when I got home I made a double batch of bread, didn’t even have my starter out of the fridge. Made it anyway, and I just finished baking them this morning. They turned out better than I expected. I’m excited to cut into them later. Regular loaf, jalapeño and cheddar, pesto parm, and a strawberry chocolate.

Question for all my followers:

How do you eat your bread? Toasted with butter or peanut butter? Grilled cheese? I wanna know!

This is what I just did with one my mini regular sourdough loaves.

Chipotle mayo, Avocado, bacon, tomato, and mild pepper rings with some garlic herb seasoning.

IT WAS DELICIOUS!

PHEW! I am tired. Buttttt, after such a busy day of work, then doing house work I decided to make an extra large batch of dough. I thought I timed it perfectly to bulk ferment overnight, but I was wrong. This nearly doubled in size in five hours. Sooooo…stay tuned for tomorrow for what I baked and what will be available!

IM BACK! I got a recipe binder off of amazon, so I wasn’t always looking in my notes for my recipes. I was writing my sourdough chocolate chip recipe down and thought to myself. Wow, I could actually go for a chocolate chip cookie right now. So I got at it. I’ll be baking these later on this evening, in hopes that we don’t eat them all. I plan to make them smaller cookies this time around. So if you’re in the Virginia area, I’ll have some cookies for sale!!

This week has been an exhausting week, we had to travel to Pennsylvania! We are back home now, but this weekend I am pausing on fresh baked goods to get back into our normal rhythm. In the meantime, if anyone wants to put in orders for next weeks bake, feel free to message me or email me.
