I am Cassie, Owner and Baker of It's All in the Mix, located in the hickory area of Chesapeake. I grew up with a mother who also has a love for baking and cake decorating, so you could say I learned from the best. I am self-taught and love doing this as a side business, but I do have children and a full-time day job! I hope to own a storefront in the Hampton Roads area one day, but probably not un

til I retire from my "real" job lol. No problem! Looking for an auto-mechanic? You probably clicked the wrong page, but stay and browse while you're here! ;)

Delivery: Local deliveries within a certain mile radius, are free of charge for certain custom orders if needed. Ask us more about delivery and pick up details! ::Holiday Pre-Sales are pick up ONLY::

Also. I am BAAACCCKKKK. (Partially) This was my first set after a 12 week break 🥰. My shoulder and bicep are healing well, I have been released of my 3lb weight limit but I still have some strengthening to do. For now, I can manage small orders of cookies and cupcakes! Holding my arm up to frost a cake isn’t in the cards just yet, but I’m hopeful that’ll change soon with more and more PT.

Hey friends!! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and you’re prepping for the holidays! I can’t believe Christmas is a WEEK away!

A quick little update on me since my shoulder surgery. I had it last week and all went well. The first few days were a little rough but now I’m doing pretty good. Mostly discomfort at night, tiredness and annoyance with this sling already (and I’ve got 5 more weeks of wearing it) 🤣🤣

I don’t have an update on when I’ll be back in the kitchen though. If I had to guess, no earlier than beginning of February. I’m out of the sling late Jan but won’t be fully be healed until March, so I have to find out what my restrictions will be.

In the meantime, I will be posting orders I fulfilled prior to my surgery, so don’t get too excited if you see me posting baked goods lol!!
