This cake is all homemade from scratch — soft vanilla cake layers, filled with a sweet strawberry filling and covered in silky vanilla buttercream 🍓🎂✨

Simple, bright, and full of springtime sweetness 🌼 I loved adding the little buttercream flowers and pops of color to make it feel extra cheerful for such a special day.

There’s just something about homemade cakes that make birthdays feel a little more magical 💛

What a difference 13 years makes 🧁✨

The first photo? Tie-dyed cupcakes I made for my mom’s birthday 13 years ago… back when I had never really baked before. They were far from perfect, but I remember how much fun I had making them.

Fast forward to today — I’ve found something I truly love. I only started really getting into cupcakes a couple years ago, but it’s grown into so much more than just baking. It’s creativity, it’s joy, and it’s bringing smiles to people I care about.

Still having fun… just with a little more frosting skill these days 💕
