This is one of those crazy posts I never thought I’d be making, but I’ve decided to shut the doors to Cameon’s Cookie Kitchen until further notice.
At the beginning of summer, I *paused* orders to enjoy the summer with my kiddos and figure out my next steps because running a small business is hard under normal circumstances. Add in through a pandemic, now through record high inflation, etc. and it just hasn’t been bringing as much joy as it once did. I’ve been working through orders that were already on the books, and trying to work through what I wanted those next steps to be. The only thing keeping me open was you guys to be honest.
But, during this *break* so many things have changed, including stepping into a new position that fits my family so much better in this season. I’ve been able to use all my previous skills in organization, running a business, and being a former teacher to help an incredible group of ladies as a virtual assistant and at the end of my “work hours” I close my laptop and I’m done to spend time with the kiddos and hubby. It’s glorious. 😅
So, thank you all for an incredible six years. I’m hanging up my apron for now, but you never know what the future holds.
