April is almost behind us, I’m ready for warmer weather already. Two more official days of work and then will be retired!! I am sssooo excited!

So many things I want to bake, but I can’t do it all at once🤪🤔. So, for May I am going to focus on yeast.

Sweet rolls, cinnamon bread, regular loaf bread and yes, if I have enough orders, kolaches😋

I forgot to take pics of my order today, but I made2 strawberry rhubarb pies, 2 loaves of English muffin bread and 2 loaves of jalapeño cheddar bread.

It feels sssooo good to get back in the baking mode. I really missed it.

Let me know if you would like something. If you can imagine it, I can make it.

The only thing I don’t do is make decorated cakes. I can, however refer you to someone, if that is what you need.

I have a standing order for kolaches, no delivery date as of now. I will have 4 dozen for sale to whoever speaks first.

Now to work on my bucket list…sour dough, bagels and rohliky. Stay tuned there may be give aways with orders.

Rhubarb is ready!!! Made my first dessert today and it was delicious.

Taking orders for absolutely anything you are hungry for.

Will sell rhubarb for $3/pound.

Six more working days and I will be retired and back to baking everything.

Fall is definitely in the air and just a couple weeks away. I’m itching to start some fall baking. Do, I am taking orders from now until Thursday night for:

1. Breads: English Muffin, Jalapeño Cheddar, Jalapeño Cornbread, Pumpkin, Apple, Banana and lemon.

2. Cupcakes. Haven’t decided on a flavor yet, so if you have a preference, speak now. Otherwise stay tuned.

3. Calzones. Again stay tuned for details.

Delivery will be free to Grinnell and Chelsea on Saturday.

Late night last night, but the English muffin bread tasted great for breakfast this morning😋

Both loaves turned out realky nice. I think jalapeno cornbread would go awesome with chili. Stay tuned for pics.

I’m going to try doing some meal prep. If there is anything that you would like in that line, let me know.

First, I’m thinking calzones. I did these for lunch when I had my shop open. They tasted delicious. They should freeze nicely and you would just pop them in the oven.

Taking orders for Jalapeño Cheddar Bread and English muffin Bread.

Orders need to be to me by noon Saturday. Delivery will be Monday afternoon to the Tama/Toledo, Marshalltown area.

Cost is $6.50 per loaf.

I need some therapy, baking relieves my stress🤪

I’m thinking English Muffin Bread or, since my jalapeños are coming on, jalapeño cheddar bread. Both freeze well and are delicious!

I sell my bread loaves for $6.50.

Of course, if you would like something else, that is always available to. If you can imagine it, i can probably make it.

Spring for some reason makes me want cupcakes, and who doesn’t like cupcakes!
