I’m getting messages asking if we’re closed or if we plan on reopening. If you’ve driven by the building, you see it’s completely vacant. The problems with the building and the owners just became too much to bear. It took over 6 weeks to fix the sewage backup and imo the building still stinks. There are environmental drillings in the driveway for a problem that hasn’t been disclosed, the building is old and un maintained. During this last issue with the sewer backup, the water was left running by either the owner and/or a contractor for two days causing a flood in the pizza shop. There was no mitigation. It’s a connected building and those problems affect every unit. My health and mental sanity couldn’t afford to stay any longer.
I am looking to reopen somewhere- I have my eye on a spot in Westford. Currently in the phase to see what the build out costs are and working with a potential contractor. The external grease trap and ansul fire hood system are some of the costlier items…so all I can say is we shall see. I’m thankful for this time of rest, getting things in order and waiting. If it turns out this isn’t for me, I’ll have to put together a resume 🤓 I will posts updates as I have them ❤️🙏
