We love fun wedding themes, so when I sat down with our bride and she described hers as “Mountain Fairy Disco,” I knew this one was going to be a blast! We pulled elements from her tablescapes and brought them into the cake design to tie everything together. The dainty hand-piped details on this sage-on-sage buttercream… chef’s kiss. I love when our couples want to explore outside the traditional and let us play with texture, color, and whimsy. This one felt truly magical from start to finish!

Feeling extra grateful this Thanksgiving!

As soon as the bride and her father arrived for their tasting, I recognized them from more than fifteen years ago—our kids were great friends in high school. That little reunion made designing their wedding cake even more meaningful.
Fun fact: they once attended an event where I created one of my very first large cakes, completely unaware that I would continue down this path for all these years.
What a full-circle moment—and I’m so happy with how their cake turned out! Congratulations Hannah and Jake!
