It’s Thanksgiving week! As I packaged these cute little mini Pecan Pies and Pumpkin Pies, I realized that this little bakery is truly a wonderful family effort.

I am so thankful for the many ways my children, parents and sister support me. They’re always there for me whether it is running to the store for last minute ingredients or supplies, approving my pictures before I post them, tasting recipes, helping with packaging, delivering farm-fresh eggs to my door, delivering orders near and sometimes distant, wearing company branded gear, and constantly boosting my spirits and motivating me when I feel like I just can’t crack another egg.

Huckleberry & Holland truly is a small, family business and each customer is treated like our family and I couldn’t be prouder.

Thanksgiving is a precious time to reflect. Whatever your plans and traditions include, please take a moment to be still and to be thankful for your many blessings.

There is no rule that says Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie are the only ones that can served at Thanksgiving. We have a great alternative to the more popular desserts. Give your guests a refreshing piece of our Lemon Pie after their heavy meal. Trust us, they’ll like it!

A mom called from Memphis and explained that she was coming to Chattanooga to surprise her son on his 25th birthday. She said her son loves cream cheese icing so we agreed that our Red Velvet cupcakes would be the perfect choice to have at his party.

We have celebrated birthdays in our family from 1 to 78, and we always will. Since my second daughter is 23 today it is perfect day to bake our Birthday Cake Cookies.

One of my favorite sights to see are bright white clouds against a blue sky. Wispy clouds are just giant pieces of cotton candy floating in the air as clouds, right? Why not make Cotton Candy Cookies? We did and they are so fun!

After a getting adjusted to the thirteen hour time difference between Chattanooga and South Korea and doing some touristy things, one of our Reese’s Chip Cookies took a photo in Gangneung-si, Gyohanh-ri.

Yesterday our cookies took a break at the Delta Sky Club in Atlanta before boarding Korean Air for the final fifteen hours of the trip. ✈️🍪

Our Chocolate Chip Cookies are going places! ✈️ They departed Chattanooga on Delta Air Lines this morning at 7:00am and are being gifted to the flight crews traveling with them to their final
destination.

A miniature Coconut Cream Pie is the perfect dessert choice for a company luncheon. The combination of its creamy coconut filling, graham cracker crust and sweetened toasted coconut topping is simply mouthwatering.
