Celebrating Valentines all month long!
Afternoon Tea at the Inn this Sunday, February 4, 1-4 pm. Menu: Soup: Silky Tomato
Finger Sandwiches: Ham & Swiss with Dijon on a house made tomato/sunflower seed bread; Cucumber/tomato/herbed mayo on country white. Pastry: Blueberry scone & a simple, delicious English scone with preserves & American clotted cream; Sweets: Chocolate earthquake cookies, red velvet cake with cream cheese icing & strawberries. Bantlings: Honeyed peanut butter cream cheese on warm banana bread, jam & butter on white bread, choice of sweet.

Dear Friends and Brownie Lovers. On. August 14, 2016 I lost my best friend, business partner in our B&B (Silver Thatch Inn), and my beautiful husband, Jim to a sudden heart attack. We were married 18-1/2 years and have owned Silver Thatch since 1998. We took this journey from Los Angeles with a leap of faith to realize our dreams of a beautiful Inn and restaurant, as we're both trained chefs. We shared a passion for food, especially baking, BBQ, & creating in our kitchen at the Inn. My brownie recipe is from Jim's mom, Libby.

My focus at this time must be my Inn. Three days ago I made the decision to put Bo's on hold while I take care of my inn. I can't tell you when I will return to Bo's, but my heart & soul belong to pastry and baking and all things with cream and butter and sugar, and, of course chocolate!

Your understanding is so appreciated. Bo's page will continue. Please visit to see what's going on. While I won't be taking orders while my website is on hold, I will certainly continue to share information on the world of pastry & chocolate, and will post recipes and cooking tips along the way.

Bo's may be on hold, but I'm still here.

It's September already! The holidays are just around the corner which means...it's time to get your orders gathered for Bo's Seriously Bodacious Chocolate Fudge Sauce and Seriously Bodacious Salted Caramel Sauce! The Salted Caramel is new to the holidays this year, but I'm sure it'll be a huge hit! Actually, I recommend ordering a quantity of each, just to cover your bases.
I'll have Holiday Pricing soon, and it will be very attractive. Watch this space! And Happy Fall!
