This bridal shower cake features a fully hand-sculpted teapot topper, delicate sugar flowers, edible gold accents, and a vintage-inspired frame—all created by hand and completely edible.

From shaping each flower petal to adding the final touches of gold leaf, every detail was carefully crafted to create a one-of-a-kind centerpiece for a special celebration.

Celebrating a remarkable 70 years with something truly special ✨

This custom dessert collection was designed to honor a wonderful gentleman, featuring two bespoke cakes inspired by what he loves most — the iconic UVA Rotunda and his personal airplane.

The Rotunda was crafted using our signature toffee silk cake, while the airplane cake was a one-of-a-kind flavor created just for this occasion: vanilla bean cake delicately brushed with champagne simple syrup and finished with a champagne honey buttercream.

To accompany the cakes, we added Reese’s and Oreo-stuffed brownies along with sugar cookie bars adorned in edible gold leaf for a touch of understated elegance.

These pieces made their journey from North Carolina to Virginia, and seeing everything come together so beautifully was incredibly rewarding.

Grateful to have been a small part of such a meaningful celebration 🤍

Happy 4th Birthday to our grandson Noah! 🏀⚽🏈⚾🎂

Noah wanted a cake with all the balls because he loves every sport—and that fits him perfectly! From the minute he wakes up until he goes to bed at night, this little guy is in high gear. Running, jumping, playing, and always on the move, especially if it involves sports!

An exquisite two-tiered creation inspired by the timeless elegance of the Amalfi Coast. Hand-finished in a regal blue tile motif, this tailored cake is adorned with delicately candied lemon slices and refined Italian ruscus—an homage to sunlit terraces overlooking the sea.

Within, layers of classic vanilla sponge are infused with lemon simple syrup and enveloped in a velvety lemon buttercream, offering a bright yet sophisticated citrus finish.

Retro colors, a bold marquee, and topped with a big bowling ball and two pins… this one definitely made a statement!

Pretty in pink and full of puppy-inspired fun! 🐾🎀

This sweet birthday cake was made for a special little girl who loves brave pups and big adventures. Soft shades of pink, fluffy mounds of buttercream, playful paw prints, and a delicate pink bow with the tiniest paw details made it extra magical.

Sometimes you don’t need the characters themselves to capture the spirit of the adventure—just a little imagination, lots of buttercream, and a trail of paw prints! 💕🐶

Happy Friday ☀️

My first introduction to fondant was in a Wilton cake decorating class at Michael’s many years ago. I already loved baking and sharing treats with people, but that class opened my eyes to a whole new side of cake decorating. It made me realize that cakes could be more than just delicious—they could be a little piece of art too.

This cake from 2014 will always be special to me. It was a sweet reminder that trying something new can reveal gifts you didn’t know you had. Looking back, it feels like a little ray of sunshine that helped me see the possibilities ahead.

Grateful for small beginnings, sweet moments, and the joy of creating. 🌼
