I love it when customers give me a flavor and some loose details and tell me to do whatever design I want! This cake was for a sophisticated lady of who celebrated her 30th birthday with the help of a few friends and this strawberry beauty. Happy birthday beautiful!

Buttercreme Bliss is back! The break COVID provided was nice but I've missed you all! I'll be sharing some new policies and guidelines later but for now I wanted to share what I made my Dad for Father's Day.

He had ribs for dinner AND dessert! 😝 I'm excited to share my rack of ribs cake! Yes the ribs are all cake (my 3 flavor pound cake), buttercreme and sugar paste. The fries are sugar cookies and the BBQ sauce is preserves that I made look like sauce. This was SUCH a fun cake to make and it was so much fun to surprise Daddy! Happy Father's Day to my awesome Dad and all the fathers out there! Tag a Dad you love below and tell him happy father's day!

While we are on hiatus we'll be posting a few of our creations that you haven't seen yet! This cake is one of the last we did and it was for a 45th birthday celebration. Black, white, gold, sexy and elegant. Chocolate cake on the bottom and red velvet on top. This cake was a collaboration with the baddest event planner around . If you don't know him you need to!!!!

UPDATE: Given the stay at home order that came down today from Mecklenburg County, Buttercreme Bliss will remain closed through at least April 16, 2020. We encourage all of our customers to stay home, stay safe and help .

Buttercreme Bliss is doing it’s part to during the Coronavirus global pandemic. To that end, we are temporarily closed through early April. At that time we will re-evaluate our closure to determine if it needs to be extended. We will do our best to work with any customers who need to reschedule, cancel or modify orders already placed. In the meantime we encourage all our customers to practice social distancing, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, enjoy your family, get some rest, don’t panic and be kind to others. We will all get through this together and there will be cake and other sweet things in life after covid. Be safe everyone.
