Hi, we’re the Andersons! ✨
In 1946 brothers Jimmie, Pete, and Bill Anderson opened the Mercury Sandwich shop which would later be renamed The Andersons Restaurant. My grandfather, Jimmie, continued on until my father, Gary, took over in 1983. They, alongside my grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loyal customers, built Andersons into a core staple of the Charlotte community. We are so grateful to continue to serve you 80 years later!
So much of who we are and our family’s history is centered around Andersons. Generations of memories have been made here, not just for our family but for so many Charlotteans. I’m so excited to share a little more of the people, stories, and heart behind Andersons with you. If you’re new here, welcome to the family.
