Well the epic snow storm hit Charlotte! My unofficial total was 6 inches, but Charlotte’s official reached 11. Grace had fun making two little snowmen yesterday and was pleasantly surprised they were still there this morning. Enjoying the view today before it begins to melt.

I was going to make a winter set, but since it didn’t snow, (granted the chances were slim), I decided to move on to Valentine’s instead. Heart lace cookies are one of my favorite to decorate. They end up in a Valentine’s Day set almost every year. Crossing my fingers we get some snow this weekend! (And it looks like we have a better chance too.)

Finally got around to making some fall cookies. The weather is beginning to cool off and I feel like eating soup, haha! So basically that means fall is officially here in North Carolina. 😂

I tried some new colors from and just love them!

I had the privilege to make some Weddington cookies for a fantastic woman and some fantastic kiddos. 💕 Originally I made W transfers, to then “glue” onto the cookie, but they weren’t drying flat. So, I pulled out the projector and piped the image right on the cookie instead. At least I know that works, haha!

Made some sugar cookies for my new coworkers. Being an English teacher, this felt fitting. 😊 I see new students next Wednesday!

Fish cookies for my son’s 15th birthday. I tried to get the spinner to look like his. Kept asking him questions about it, like, “Are you sure the black dot is that big? It looks like an eyeball.” 😂 And matching the colors of his tackle box. I will say the worm looks cuter than real life. He reminded me it really isn’t that orange, haha. But if were to eat a worm, I at least wanted it to be cute.

When you don’t decorate cookies for a hot minute, then realize how much work they really are! Trying to get 3 dozen decorated today for my son’s 15th birthday party tomorrow afternoon. 🤞

My 3D cookie entry for cookie competition. There are 18 cookies, and although I did not place, I’m proud of what I made. I titled it The Flower House, and tried new things I had never done before. Here’s to growing and stepping outside your comfort zone!

Candy charcuterie board—jelly bellies, Swedish fish, lollipops, truffles, licorice ropes, and white chocolate covered Oreos. Easy and fun!!
