🍭 WELCOME TO CANDYLAND! 🍭

What a fun one this was to create!

This 10-inch, double-layer Funfetti birthday cake was created for a very special 5th birthday celebration and transformed into a colorful Candyland adventure. 🎂🌈🍬

From the winding candy path traveling across the top and down the side, to the colorful drips, gumdrops, gumballs, lollipops, peppermint swirls and sweet little details throughout, there is something to see from every angle.

And one of the things I’m most proud of is that almost everything you see on this cake is edible! 🍭🧁🍦

The cake features handcrafted edible details throughout, including the Candyland plaque, colorful candy pieces, whimsical sweets, a handcrafted cupcake and ice-cream cone, along with lots of other little touches that brought this sweet world together.

The only non-edible decorative elements are the personalized cake topper, the number 5 and that adorable little miniature gumball machine. Everything else is part of the edible Candyland experience. ❤️💛💚💙

This cake challenged my creativity, stretched my skills and reminded me once again that there are always lessons along the way. I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.
