I made this birthday cake for 2 sisters celebrating their birthday this past weekend. Their mom placed L.O.L dolls on the cake prior to the party. Now for details on the cake. The flavor was Funfetti. The image on the front is an edible image printed with my edible image printer. The blue drip is a white chocolate ganache drip, which I colored blue. The suckers on top I made with white chocolate and a mold. It turn out so cute for the girls 💕. On a side note, I can make beautiful cakes but I have a long ways to go writing on a cake or cake board. I was concentrating so hard on making sure my writing looked nice that I left the “h” off of Islah’s name. Luckily her mother caught it before she left with the cake and I was quickly able to fix it. This has always been a huge fear of mine! I try so hard with each cake I make for each client, and I still get a little nervous that I will mess up or it won’t be good enough. I can truly say I have the best clients and they have all been so grateful for me, as I have been for them 🥰

I think I’ve mentioned how vintage-style cakes are becoming my favorite. I had a client’s husband give me creative freedom on his wife’s surprise birthday cake so I had to bring a little bit of vintage to the design. I love how it turned out 💕

Cupcakes are so versatile and can be dressed up or down for any party, wedding, or event. Adding a lace or satin cupcake wrap to the outside of the cupcake can add elegance and the look you want to achieve for your event. I love how these turned out for a wedding I did in April. We kept with the color theme to match the flowers and decorations, but also added a special Oreo flavor.
