MinusG was founded in 2015 by Katherine, a 5th generation baker. As a young child, she had a love for baking and by th age of 10 she was experimenting with homemade breads and bakery items. Later her world of delicious eats was altered. In 2004, Katheri
ne was diagnosed with celiac disease. She thought her world of delicious tasting breads, pizzas, sweet breads, cakes, muffins, doughnuts and cookies were never to be tasted again. In her quest to find a gluten-free equivalent for both sweet and savory bakery items, she began her journey into gluten free. After years of dedication, she has developed recipes so delicious that even those without gluten issues do not realize they’re eating gluten free. In fact her products have been chosen over a regular gluten product. Over the last few years more of Katherine’s family and friends have learned they also need to eat gluten free. Knowledge of the lack of tasty options available on the market has been the driving force behind MinusG. Until recently, many Americans with food allergies have gone undiagnosed. Within the last 3 years there has been a 26% increase in demand for gluten-free options within the NCGS (non-celiac gluten sensitivity) community as well as an increased demand for non-GMO products. Katherine is furthering development to create a product line of that is completely GMO free. She is passionate to see great tasting product available for those who have to eat gluten free, and to provide product for those who have struggled with their health.
