Sweet Little Something owner, Annie Pambaguian grew up in Paris but spent the summers at her grandparents' house in the country where the scent of wild thyme, anise, and lavender filled every inch of land. After graduating from culinary school, Annie served as an apprentice at high-end restaurants in Paris, where she learned how to make a wide variety of dishes in a fast-paced environment. She moved to Chapel Hill in the nineties working as the pastry chef and the head chef at several area restaurants. She started Sweet Little Something in 2009, specializing in desserts and bite-sized appetizers. In the words of food writer Courtenay Beinhorn Dunk, Annie has “a zeal for perfection, a light, elegant hand — and an insatiable curiosity about flavor."
