It’s that time again, it’s Fall y’all! 🎊 I love welcoming fall with this beautiful, delicious loaf of bread and so does my family. I always have a hard time picking which picture to post but especially this bread. How do you capture the sticky caramel goodness on the outside while showcasing the beautiful swirls of flavors on the inside?! 😍 🤤 All I know is, this bread doesn’t last long anywhere it goes.

Kids started school today and I was NOT ready for it; I could’ve had another month of summer before sending back the gang to school! But ready or not, school came and they are gone. Don’t worry, I’m not too sad 😏🤭. Nothing like getting back into a routine which means back to baking. Whether you’re crying or shouting for joy this week do it while eating something delicious!

Food is a love language, it is. I remember going to my Aunt’s and Uncle’s house to visit as a child and my aunt would always cook us something like her amazing pancakes with buttermilk syrup! 🤤 It was a simple gesture but powerful. It’s why whenever someone comes to visit I let them scroll through my items and let them pick whatever they want. This past weekend we got the best visitor and one thing he picked out was the Biscoff cookies. Brown sugar cookie with the fluffiest Biscoff frosting. So good! You may gain 10 pounds after visiting us but we hope, most importantly, that you feel the love.

I use to think granola was meant to be with yogurt, like that was its whole purpose in life, but I have grown and learned that granola shouldn’t be put in a box or a corner. 😏 Some grilled fruit with granola on top? 👌🏻 Yes! Ice cream or a shake topping? Heck yes! What about in a salad? A perfect crunchy addition! 😋 Granola, way to keep your options open.

I live for summer just as much as I live for bread and sugar! It’s been a crazy month and a half of adventures mixed in with complete laziness. Balance, my fiends, is what I’m after and although I never get it just right I do enjoy the ride along the way. What have you been up to?! After taking a week off for the madness the last week of school is with 4 kiddos, I am ready to get back in the kitchen and make some delicious cookies for y’all! There is something amazing about each cookie which makes them impossible to refuse when put in front of me. Haha. These Raspberry Cheesecake Cookies have that perfect touch of tart from the fruit topping and the sweet from the cream cheese frosting. Can’t forget that awesome crunch from the graham cracker cookie 👌🏻. Which cookies are you ordering this week?

Y’all, I am feeling the summer vibes and everything lemon, can’t ya tell?! Just looking at these Lemon Poppyseed Cookies are making my jaw clench and mouth water. They are a lemon poppyseed cookie base with lemon curd inside and topped with a lemon poppyseed glaze. Some of my family said they were too tart so to make them happy I swapped out the lemon curd for some homemade strawberry jam. It was the perfect combination of tangy and sweet but if you’re like me and don’t mind a little mouth puckering bites then go all in for the lemon curd. Either way they are delicious!

April is a beloved month in this house! It means two things: 1st. We celebrate Barratt’s birthday! (our youngest) 2nd. STRAWBERRY season! He was just 2 weeks old when we went for the very first time. Picking fruit is therapeutic! Eating that fresh fruit is indescribable! Strawberry jam has been a staple each year but adding a twist this year, thanks to .egan for the recommendation, we are doing strawberry coconut jam. Guys, jam is my jam. So is coconut!

These blackberry lime cupcakes are my favorite! They are lime cake with a lime curd filling and blackberry frosting. Mmmmm, so good!
