First I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! And to all my Jewish friends a very Happy Hanukkah! It's times like these I wish I could see you all in my shop and share my great ideas for holiday dishes and of course bake for your tables! This is the first holiday I am free to enjoy with my family in over 10 years, and as I flew back to NY to be with my family for the holiday I drove by my old shop and noticed my sign is still there. I closed the Massapequa shop months ago and expected a new tenant to be moved in by now. Now I understand why 100's of people have e-mailed me asking for my hours. I will personally respond to everyone who e-mailed me while I've been on this long much needed vacation. In short, I drove across country, been loving Arizona and finishing up some projects I've been working on. Have much to be grateful for, and many delicious things to eat this Thanksgiving. The Valley of the Sun is the most beautiful place in America, but a little too warm to be baking in the kitchen right now. This baker is taking a long summer break and traveling a lot for the first time in 10 years! Missing all of my customers, hoping you are all enjoying your summer!

I've been serving the diabetic and gluten free community here on Long Island for nearly 10 yrs in the very cute purple and pink bakery I built in Massapequa. It's very hard to let it go, but I'm ready for a change. I'll be moving soon and closing my doors this weekend. I'll miss all my wonderful customers, many of whom are like family. If you haven't already signed my cutomer book to keep in touch, just message me your e-mail address and I will let you know when I am settled after a much needed long vacation as I ship the muffins, donuts and loaves all over the US. Stay on this FB page, as I will send updates. I'm not leaving the world of healthy baking, just NY. Thank you everyone for allowing me to bake for you for all these years. As always if you ever have any baking or cooking questions, just ask here, I will try to make this page more interactive and add interesting food stories when I can. Heavy snow all over Long Island. Please be careful shoveling, the snow is heavy and can put a strain on your heart. Stretch out first and only shovel for 15 min at a time. Take long breaks inside and drink fluids. It's not a race, take your time. The roads are icy, be safe everyone.

In light of hurricane Sandy, we have been closed since the storm hit and we are now experiencing a NorEaster expecting quite a bit of snow. But we will be open this weekend! Full days, Saturday and Sunday, and we will be fully stocked with mini muffins, donuts and mini loaves. We are currently taking all weekend orders and ALL HOLIDAY ORDERS too!!!
