A baby shower cake featuring handmade fondant animals.

Here's a fun one for a baby shower celebrating a little guy named Chas that was on his way! Each animal was handmade from fondant-time consuming but absolutely worth it! You can see close ups of the animals in my photo tab.

The red foiled boards were the separator boards between the tiers. Cake was marble and the frosting was a light chocolate...I hope the garbage can loved it!

Drama, Drama, Drama...the worst that could happen actually happened! I was making a cake in the shape of a mug of beer for some great customers...and despite my stablizing dowels....18 inches of cake tumbled to my kitchen floor... Spent the next 8 hours rebuilding the dang thing. I'll post a pic of the one that made it soon.
