✨ A Little Update from Bread & Blessings ✨
Friends, I can finally say it… Bread & Blessings will be opening very soon! And I promise, this time I really mean it. ❤️
When I first planned to open months ago, life took an unexpected turn. Between family challenges and our sweet son’s recent epilepsy diagnosis, we found ourselves spending more time in hospitals than we ever imagined. During that season, I knew in my heart that I needed to pause and focus on what mattered most—my family.
At the same time, I also knew I didn’t want to rush this dream. I wanted Bread & Blessings to be intentional. I wanted every detail to reflect the heart behind it. This little building has been built with so much prayer, faith, hard work, and love poured into every corner.
Today, I’m so grateful to say we are almost there. We have just a few finishing touches left, but the vision God placed on my heart is finally coming to life. Looking back at where we started and seeing the progress along the way is truly humbling. What began as a dream has become something real, and I cannot wait to share it with all of you.
Thank you for your patience, your prayers, your encouragement, and your support throughout this journey. God has been faithful through every setback and every blessing.
We hope you love this space as much as we do, and we are so excited to serve this community through fresh baked goods, fellowship, and a whole lot of love. 🥖🤍

Busy busy over here at Bread & Blessings 🤍🥯🍪🍞
Lately my kitchen has been full of bagels, cookies, and sourdough orders, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. One of my favorite parts about this business is getting to create new things and bring your ideas to life. You all know that if there’s something you’ve been wanting to try, I’m probably going to make it happen 😂
This week was full of experimenting, both for myself and for some sweet friends/customers! I made a dill pickle sourdough loaf for one friend and a cookies & cream loaf for another, both customer requests and both things I’ve never made before (and definitely not on my menu 😂). But of course I had to give them a try!
And then… the Cookie Monster loaf 💙🍪
Oh my goodness. I have wanted to make this loaf forever and finally decided to do it for myself and I truly think it might be the prettiest loaf I’ve ever laid eyes on. I am SO happy with how it turned out!!
Thank you all for constantly supporting my creativity and trusting me with your fun ideas. This little business keeps pushing me to try new things, and I love every second of it 🤍

Did I really just plant more flowers? Well of course I did 🥰😂 because apparently the ones I planted yesterday just weren’t enough 😂🌸🌼
Just a little view of Bread & Blessings and my little wildflower/cut flower garden growing right beside it 🌿✨ I can already picture all the beautiful blooms this summer and it just makes my heart so happy.
This little building has become so much more than just a bakery to me. Every flower planted, every little detail added, and every bit of work being poured into this place is done with so much love and excitement for what’s to come. I truly cannot wait to serve this community soon 🤗💛

Today was a busy, productive day over here 🫶🏻
I spent the day painting in the building and ended up doing 3 coats altogether. I kept going back and forth on what I wanted to do with the walls, but finally decided on an accent wall for the back wall and I’m honestly so glad I did. That wall is where I plan to hang the image of Jesus, right in the center… because He’s truly at the center of all of this. Every prayer, every late night, every blessing, every opportunity, every hard season, every little dream coming together.. it’s all because of Him 🤍
After painting, we also tilled up part of the yard and planted wildflowers and sunflowers 🌻 I’m already picturing a little wildflower garden blooming around the building this summer and I can’t wait to watch it all come to life.
Slowly but surely, it’s all coming together. One project, one prayer, and one step at a time ☺️

One thing about me… if a customer has a custom request, I’m probably going to say yes 😍
This one wasn’t on my menu, but the request was simple and sounded WAY too good not to make… Everything Bagel Seasoning Sourdough Sandwich Bread 🤤
And let me tell you… the smell alone while this was baking was incredible. I just know it tastes just as amazing as it smells, which means now I’m officially going to have to make one for myself too 😂
I absolutely love getting creative with custom requests and trying new things in the kitchen. Sometimes the best ideas come from you guys 🫶

What it’s been like in my kitchen lately 🥹🤍
A little bit of everything… flour covered counters, long evenings in the kitchen, sourdough stretching on the counter, cinnamon rolls rising, cookies being frosted, and slowly finding my way back into the groove of baking again.
Last night was extra special because I made these fun cookies for Everett’s teachers and classmates for his last day of school 🥹🍪 Such a bittersweet moment. We are so thankful for the love, support, kindness, and patience his teachers have shown our family through everything these past few months.
In between all of life’s chaos lately, I’ve also been working on some orders and easing back into baking little by little. Truthfully, being back in the kitchen has felt healing for my heart. There’s just something about creating with your hands, feeding people, and pouring love into food that brings a sense of peace.
Thank you all for sticking around, supporting Bread & Blessings, and giving me grace during this season of life. It means more than you know. 🤍🍞✨

I just wanted to take a moment to say how much I appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience, prayers, and support as we navigate our son’s recent diagnosis. Life has looked a lot different lately, and while our focus has been exactly where it needs to be — on our family and our sweet boy — it has definitely limited the time and energy we’ve been able to put into finishing the building.
But even in the middle of all of this, we are making progress… and we’re so excited to finally see it starting to come together. 🤍
Just look! We now have insulation up, drywall done, and most of the priming finished! Next comes paint, wallpaper, trim work, and all of the final little touches that will truly bring the space to life.
It may be taking a little longer than originally planned, but we are trusting God through every season and are so thankful for the grace everyone has shown us during this time. We cannot wait to share the finished space with you all soon. 🫶
