🍎 The Apple Butter Festival Needs You!

Some traditions only continue because people in the community step up to help make them happen — and the Century Village Apple Butter Festival is one of them.

We’re looking for volunteers to join us October 9, 10 & 11, 2026 at Century Village Museum in Burton. Help stir apple butter over the open fire, assist with canning, greet visitors, help with sales, or simply lend a hand wherever it’s needed.

Bring a friend, volunteer for a shift, and spend part of your fall weekend helping keep this favorite Geauga County tradition going.

Have you ever wondered what goes into making all that delicious apple butter?
It takes a village—and we'd love for YOU to be part of ours!

We're looking for volunteers to help bring the Apple Butter Festival to life at Century Village Museum on October 10 & 11.

Whether you're stirring apples over an open fire, helping with canning, or lending a hand with sales, there's a way for everyone to get involved.

No apple butter expertise required—just a willingness to pitch in, meet some great people, and keep a beloved community tradition going strong.

🍂 Fall Baking Has Arrived at Sugar & Spice Bakery

Sugar & Spice Bakery is bringing all the cozy flavors of fall to the Geauga Fresh Farmers Market this Saturday, October 3!

Our fall table will be filled with handcrafted Brown Butter Pecan, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Pistachio Cranberry Biscotti, plus bakery-size cookies including Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Caramel Coconut Chocolate Chip, Rock Star, and Pecan Chocolate Chip. We’ll also have our Gluten-Free Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies.

And don’t forget the granola! Pumpkin Spice Granola is back for fall, along with Strawberry & Honey, Blueberry Muffin Almond (V), and our Nut & Honey Signature.

Grab a cup of coffee, enjoy the crisp fall morning, shop your favorite local growers and makers, and stop by Sugar & Spice for something special to take home. 🍁☕💛
